All retail establishments such as supermarkets, department stores, appliance centers and hardware stores, as well as DTI accredited service and repair shops can join the program and apply for the DTI-Bagwis Seal of Excellence.

Applicants for the DTI-Bagwis of Excellence will be evaluated according to the established criteria of the DTI Bagwis program which will serve as basis for the qualification of awardees for the following DTI-Bagwis awards either Bronze, Silver or Gold.

Upon assessment the DTI Bagwis applicant should meet the requirements as per level of awards (Bronze, Silver or Gold) applied, specifically:

• Bronze – Compliance to Fair Trade Laws + Consumer Welfare Desk (CWD) or an equivalent customer relations office inside the mall
• Silver – Achievement of Bronze requirements + Social Responsibility
• Gold – Achievement of Silver requirements + some elements aligned to ISO 9001

DTI – Cavite encourage consumers to patronize establishments granted with the DTI Bagwis Seal. The recognition shows that the establishment was able to showcase its commitment to uphold the rights of consumers while practicing responsible business where consumers get the best value for money thru voluntary self-regulation.
