The State recognizes the right of the people to organize and participate in nation-building in partnership with the government. It is in this context that DTI develop and strengthen consumer organizations that would champion the welfare of the consumers. They will also serve and assist in monitoring the implementation of the Consumer Act, the Price Act and other consumer-related laws, rules and regulations.

DTI-Cavite at present has one (1) accredited consumer organization – the Cavite Metro Mutli Purpose Cooperative located in Imus City, Cavite.

Applications for accreditation of local consumer organizations may submit their application at DTI-Cavite Provincial Office.
